IF YOU DO NOT SIGN THIS CONTRACT WITHIN 3 DAYS OF MAKING YOUR RESERVATION (WITHIN 24 HOURS IF YOU ARE ARRIVING WITHIN 30 DAYS) YOUR RESERVATION WILL BE CANCELLED.

ALL RENTAL UNITS ARE NONSMOKING UNLESS SPECIFICALLY INDICATED OTHERWISE. You must receive permission from the owner prior to your arrival if you wish to smoke in your rental unit.

I authorize VACATIONHOSTS.COM to charge my credit card for the amount of the deposit. I understand that all payments are to be made in U.S. currency.

If you wish to make further payments by credit card, email support@vacationhosts.comto authorize the charges. DO NOT RESEND YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. Simply state the amount of the payment and request that it be charged to the credit card we have on file. If you wish to use a different credit card, please call 1-800-754-0905.

ALL PERSONS STAYING AT THIS VACATION UNIT MUST BE REGISTERED. Any unregistered guest will be considered unauthorized. An additional fee of $25.00 per night/per person may be charged. In addition, if you are found to have more persons staying at the property than are stated on your rental contract, you are in breach of that contract and may be denied access to the property. No refunds will be issued if you are refused accommodations due to a breach in your contract. BALANCE: A second installment of 30% is due 10 days after the initial booking. The remaining balance is due 45 days before your arrival (75 days before your arrival during the Christmas season).

RETURNED CHECKS
A fee of $25.00 will be charged for all checks that are returned or "bounced".

In order to maintain the tranquil setting, no parties of more than 4 additional persons are allowed without specific written permission from the property owner or agent.

Weddings and parties require the property owner's or agent's written permission and may be subject to payment of additional fees. Security & parking valet services may be required for weddings and parties.

Late check out or additional days may be arranged, subject to availability and payment of additional fees. Advance notice and written permission are required.

DEPOSIT: Upon receipt of your deposit your reservation request is confirmed via email.

BALANCE: A second installment of 30% is due 10 days after the initial booking. The remaining balance is due 45 days before your arrival (75 days before your arrival during the Christmas season).

Bookings Made 30 Days or Less in Advance: If you are booking less than 30 days before your arrival the entire balance is due immediately. Payment is by personal check, cashiers check, or money order, forwarded directly to your owner/host. No refunds are possible on bookings made 30 days or less in advance.

CANCELLATION & CHANGE POLICY: Cancellations and requests for changes or refunds must be in writing to VACATION HOSTS. All reservation changes and/or cancellations are subject to a minimum $50 administrative fee. Please see the chart below for details. Trip insurance information will be provided upon confirmation.

Changes: You will incur a $30 processing fee for the following changes to your reservation:

• Change in the arrival and/or departure dates
• Change in the number of guests in your party
• Change in the services requested in association with this reservation

Cancellations: Switching to an alternate property or reducing the number of nights of your reservation constitutes a cancellation of this invoice. The fees and charges associated with a cancellation are as follows:

• Cancellations within 72 hours of booking: $50 administrative fee.
• Cancellations 3-10 calendar days after booking but more than 60 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Invoice amount is non-refundable.
• Cancellations between 45 and 60 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Invoice amount is non-refundable.
• Cancellations less than 45 days prior to arrival (75 days prior during the Christmas season) or after check-in: 100% of the Invoice amount is non-refundable.
• Cancellations made after arrival are subject to above fees.

PLEASE NOTE: The owner of the property may have their own cancellation and change policies, including refund policies. In that event, the owner's own policy supercedes that of Vacationhosts.com's policies.

REFUND POLICY

Vacationhosts.com is a listing and advertisement site only. While every attempt is made to assure that information, pictures, etc on the site are up to date and accurate, Vacationhosts.com makes no warranty as to the accuracy of that information. Vacationhosts.com does not own or manage the properties displayed on the site. When a reservation is made, all funds are passed on to the owner. ALL REQUESTS FOR REFUNDS ARE HANDLED BY THE OWNER AND ARE SUBJECT TO THE OWNER'S DISCRETION. While we will be happy to facilitate your contact with an owner regarding a refund, this in no way constitutes a guarantee that your request for a refund will be fulfilled by the owner. Vacationhosts.com does not retain funds for a reservation and thus cannot issue refunds.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

Your reservation may include a security deposit. This deposit is held by the owner and returned to you within 14 days after you have vacated the property and the owner has determined that no loss or damage has occurred. All questions regarding the return of your security deposit should be directed to the owner of the property at which you are staying. Vacationhosts.com does not retain any funds related to your reservation and cannot refund your security deposit. If, however, you are having trouble getting in touch with the owner, we will be happy to assist you in making contact with them.

SUPPLIES: Upon arrival, the vacation rental will be furnished with a small supply of dishwashing detergent, soap, toilet paper etc. Additional supplies may need to be purchased at the renter's expense during the rental period. No appliances or amenities, such as grills, hot tubs, vcrs, dvds, boogie boards etc. are guaranteed. There will be no refunds due to appliance, water, power,AC or TV failures. The owners/property managers make every effort to keep their proeprty in good working order and any failures will be repaired as quickly as possible during working hours.

CATASTROPHIC EVENTS: If a catastrophe (hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, etc.) impairs the vacation rental, Vacationhosts is not responsible for finding alternate lodging for the renter or for the renter's financial losses related to transportation or alternate lodging. All requests for refund are to be directed to the owner of the property. There will be no REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR EMERGENCY EVACUATIONS. The threat of a hurricane, flood or tsunami is always present in Hawaii during certain months of the year. We suggest you conside TRAVEL PROTECTION INSURANCE to secure your vacation investment and eliminate your financial risk. There will be no refunds of any kind for evacuations or natural disaters.

TERMS OF OCCUPANCY: The rented property is a private residence and you agree to indemnify the owner for any damage or loss to the property or its contents that occur during your stay. Violation of occupancy limits and/or the number of guests declared on this agreement will result in the forfeiture of all monies and termination of occupancy. Further, you agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the property and refrain from any activity which interferes with the quiet enjoyment of its residents. Vacationhosts reserves the right, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, to refund to the guest all payments made to the owner/property manager and/or to assist(if necessary) in booking comparable alternative accommodations.

SUB-LEASING: It is against policy for you to sub-let your unit. Example: If you reserve a unit for a month, it is expected that you will be staying there for the duration of your reservation. If the unit will be occupied by different people over the course of your reservation, multiple reservations must be made. If you have questions regarding this policy, please call the office prior to your arrival.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Renter agrees that he/she is voluntarily participating in any and/or all ocean-related activities such as swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and surfing. Renter assumes all risk of injury, illness, damage or loss to person and property that might result, including, without limitation, any loss or theft of personal property. If you are booking a property that includes a swimming pool, the use of the pool also involves risks. By booking this property you acknowledge that in all events and circumstances Vacationhosts its officers or employees shall not be liable.

NO-SHOW POLICY:If you do not arrive to check in for your reservation and do not call, no part of your deposit will be refunded.
