Makani 'Akau is a oceanfront property that sits on the east side of Paia, facing west towards the sunset. The setting is just stunning! Your first view upon entering the gate is looking through the glass door, across the entry area and patio to the ocean framed by palms and the sandy beaches of Paia, Baldwin and Spreckelsville. The property is fenced and lined with vegetation on both sides to provide ample privacy. Makani Akau is walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in Paia.

All rooms with the exception of the playroom face directly to the ocean! The ground level has wood floors, with living area (cable TV/VCR, DVD, CD stereo), dining area, half bath, laundry and a well equipped kitchen (sub-zero 48" fridge, stove, microwave, disposal, dishwasher). A slate patio off of the living and dining area has both a gas and a charcoal BBQ and is overhung for sun protection. The upper floor has three bedrooms (king, queen, queen) with two full bathrooms (tub with shower in each). A large room at the back on the second floor can be used as a playroom.

Between the house and the ocean is a 50 foot lap pool . The views are incredible!

The ocean is rocky in front of the house, and therefore no ocean access from the property. The sandy beach of Paia Bay is within walking distance. Baldwin Beach is just a couple of minutes by car. THE POOL IS NOT FENCED

Our Opinion: Great location and fabulous oceanviews! This home is a favorite with our guests. Although you are close enough to walk to dinner, you feel that you are totally isolated from your day-to-day problems, or other tourists.

Disclosures: The ocean side of the yard is unfenced therefore small children should be supervised at all times. POOL IS NOT FENCED. MAXIMUM TWO VEHICLES.
