It is located next to Plantation House in a neighborhood with large trees. Walking distance to library, parks, store, bank, swimming pool, gym, and tennis courts. Five minutes to Punalu`u Black Sand Turtle Beach, and 12 minutes to Volcanoes National Park.

Maile House sleeps six in 2 bedrooms with queen beds and one with 2 double beds. It is furnished with antiques and a collection from old Ka`u Sugar Mill. Telephone and cable TV are provided. VCR, along with a full kitchen and laundry facilities.
